TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. SETTLEMENT TERMS TO BE STRICTLY 30 DAYS NETT OF INVOICE DATE.
  2. OUR QUOTATION IS BASED ON THE COMPLETION OF WORKS OVER THE PERIOD OF ONE CONTINUOUS
    SITE VISIT, UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED.
  3. ANY DELAYS OR CANCELATIONS RESULTING FROM ACTIONS BY OTHER CONTRACTORS OR THE
    PREPARATION OF THE SITE WILL BE CHARGED AT OUR STANDARD HOURLY RATES.
  4. OUR QUOTATION EXCLUDES V.A.T. AT THE PREVAILING RATE.
  5. WE CANNOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE PROTECTION OF FLOOR COVERINGS AFTER COMPLETION
    OF OUR WORKS.
  6. THIS QUOTATION REMAINS OPEN FOR ACCEPTANCE FOR A PERIOD OF 28 DAYS FROM THE QUOTATION
    DATE.
  7. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CHARGE INTEREST ON OVERDUE ACCOUNTS AT A RATE OF 1% PER ANNUM
    OVER LlOYDS TSB BASE LENDING RATE FROM TIME TO TIME IN FORCE. THE COMPANY CAN EXERCISE
    THIS RIGHT IN ADDITION TO ANY OTHER RIGHTS IT MAY HAVE IN RESPECT OF THE GOODS OR NON-
    PAYMENT
  8. TITLE TO GOODS REMAINS WITH FINELINE FLOORING LTD UNTIL PAYMENT FOR SUCH GOODS HAS BEEN
    RECEIVED IN FULL.
  9. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE MAIN CONTRACTOR AND/OR CUSTOMER TO ENSURE THAT THE
    SUBFLOOR ONTO WHICH THE FLOOR COVERING IS TO BE LAID IS MAINTAINED AT AN ADEQUATE
    TEMPERATURE AND MOISTURE LEVEL BEFORE, DURING, AND AFTER INSTALLATION FINELINE FLOORING
    LTD WILL ADVISE ADEQUATE LEVELS.
  10. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE MAIN CONTRACTOR/CUSTOMER TO ENSURE THAT THE AREAS WHERE
    A FLOOR COVERING IS TO BE LAID ARE HANDED TO FINELINE FLOORING LTD IN A CLEAN, TIDY AND
    SATISFACTORY CONDITION.
  11. WE SHALL REQUIRE A MINIMUM OF TWO WEEKS NOTICE PRIOR TO OUR COMMENCEMENT ON SITE.
  12. THIS QUOTATION DOES NOT INCLUDE MAIN CONTRACTORS DISCOUNT UNLESS STATED.
  13. THIS QUOTATION IS SUBJECT TO TRADE AND BANK REFERENCES.
  14. THIS PRICE IS BASED ON WORK BEING CARRIED OUT DURING NORMAL WORKING HOURS UNLESS
    OTHERWISE STATED.
  15. NO ALLOWANCE HAS BEEN MADE FOR REMOVAL OF ANY OLD MATERIAL WHICH MAY CONTAIN ASBESTOS
    (UNLESS SPECIFICALLY STATED IN OUR QUOTE). IF SUCH MATERIAL IS FOUND THEN AN ADDITIONAL
    CHARGE OVER AND ABOVE THAT QUOTED WILL BE MADE FOR SAFE REMOVAL & DISPOSAL. WHERE
    ASBESTOS EXISTS, ALL FURNITURE, PAPERWORK, ETC. IS TO BE REMOVED BY OTHERS BEFORE
    COMMENCING UPLIFT.
  16. ALL WORK TO BE SUBJECT TO AN AGREED PROGRAMME. THE AREA MUST BE CLEAR OF ALL PLANT,
    MACHINERY, FURNITURE & OTHER TRADESMEN ETC.
  17. THE WORK WILL BE SUBJECT TO MEASUREMENT ON COMPLETION.
  18. SUBFLOORS SHOULD INCORPORATE A SUFFICIENT DPM AND MOSITURE READINGS MUST BE
    BELOW 75% RELATIVE HUMIDITY.
  19. ADEQUATE POWER SUPPLY AND LIGHTING MUST BE AVAILABLE PRIOR TO OUR WORK COMMENCING.
  20. AREAS MUST BE AT A CONSTANT TEMPRETURE OF APPROX 18 DEG C PRIOR TO OUR ARRIVAL ON SITE.
